If you've got long arms, go with the larger of the sizes, as otherwise the sleeves can be a bit on the short size.
Regardless, it should look like a sack, it was a big piece of gear!

I'm also "athletically" built and am 1.76m tall (5'9").
I went with the height measurements and got a size 5 - it was seriously too big. Changed it for a size 4 and it was a good fit, still pretty baggy but not massive.

With my 'slipped chest' I went for the biggest size and yes i do look like an ungainly sack of spuds!
