Hi Rik, I'd recommend Epic, myself. Maybe the more expensive ones might be thicker / warmer, I don't know - but with our temperate climate, the Epic one will be quite warm enough, I'm sure.

I'm looking to get a tank & water winter parka, mostly as a usable everyday coat and was wondering where to get a good one from?
I've seen the one on SOF and Epic Militaria, they seem very reasonably priced. There's also the ones from S & M wholesale and At The Front which are a lot more expensive.
I'm not after perfect accuracy, just something thats warm. I'm just wondering what you guys would recommend?
Cheers,
Rik
Hi Mate...if its just something to keep you warm,i would go for a mouse grey parker and not a tan and water.(But thats just me)
Militaria.net and Epic do very good parkers and are very reasonable.

I find the SOF ones to be over padded and to thick for my liking..But they may have different ones in stock...Its some times alot better to go to Military fairs so you can get hands on and a better look at what your buying...plus you my pick up a nice second hand one.

A lot of the cheaper ones are quite overstuffed, and don't look *right*, mind you, ive got an SM Wholesale one here - and there's still details wrong with that as well, at a much higher price!
