Splinter caps are pretty rare TBH you'd look more accurate in a feldgrau m43.

(to my knowledge the luftwaffe used splinter pattern caps)

I got a helmet and voer for about £40 shopping about on ebay and second hand cover off of a friend on this forum.

Camo on the heer troops was incredibly rare outside of the zelt and the occasional helmet cover.

You could cover the helmet with hessian to be equally authentic *or* but a piece of inner tube around it or a bread bag strap to secure local foliage.

try suesue on ebay for cheap repro m35 helmets.
