OK Purchased some of the Finnish boots for a look a like pair at £15 could not go wrong.
Now can someone tell me how long they should be from the bottom of the heel to the top. I thought I read some where that the Finnish ones were too long and they look a wee bit on the long side.I have the uniforms reference book Soldaten and they say before the war Calf Portion 35-41cm later as the war started production changed to 29cm to save leather.
Could someone who has a pair please measure them and give me a better measurement so I can cut mine down a bit.
