That said, if you want to be more historically accurate, it is most unlikely that you'd wear Feldgrau HBT trousers with a wool jacket.... BUT... it would be fine to wear camo trousers with a wool jacket, and they are HBT or cotton-based, I believe.
If you are doing Heer (Army), then you could choose between splinter pattern, tan & water, or even Italian camo pattern.
Waffen SS used Dot 44 (peas pattern), oakleaf, blurred edge.
