Danke, Herr Shellshokt! Excuse the orange ID tags, to differentiate between sides. The other chap is my lad Louis, who enjoyed using my Thompson! :D

If there were a rear view shot (control yourself, CW!) you would see that I was making an attempt to wear my whole kit - gasmask cannister, water bottle, breadbag, rolled up Zeltbahn and mess tins. I baulked at wearing the E-tool - too heavy!

And most jealous of your gear I was too! I must get myself a gasmask tin & zelt.

I think I got my gasmask tin from SoF, but you may find better places on Ebay for all the gear. For practicality's sake, I decided to finally use my Feldflasche as a prop only, and put my water bottle in the gasmask cannister! Suesue66 or Zeltplane on ebay are my recommended sources for such bits n bobs. :)

Zeltbahns are great - I was tempted to use mine as a camo smock on Sunday. (Waterproof it with Fabsil and it's most useful in inclement weather!)

must find a way to build Magdas gas cylinder into a gas mask canister.... I find the swedish water bottle is much more convenient to use... I have to say you guys looked fab in your feldgrau..... makes me want to get some esp for winter... I must say that the mags for Magda are very heavy and bulky if anyone has any pics of germans wearing mp44 mag pouches i would be greatful

maybe its time to build one of these......

I take it that the pair or magazine pouches are connected via an adjustable strap? If not, rig something up, as the straps stop the pouches from moving forwards due to their weight.

PS, looking good guys.
