These lads have been doing this for a few years now, mountain treking/climbing in full Gebirgsjager kit, no bb's but challenging and great fun by the looks of the pictures on their webpage.

back in 84 I lived for 2 years in the mountains in Southern Germany at a Ski Hut and worked on a regular basis with the Bundeswehr Gebirgsjagers
Tim, if the next one is in 2015, you've got time.. Going grey is just a state of mind, as we both know.. I would really think about knocking the pipe on the head though.. 4000m is a bugger on your lungs so I have been told!

the man behind PE has just been to the Everest region, went up to 7k meters or so......I know one of the blokes that went to PE 2013.....lucky sods..sleeping in shell scrapes under zelts halfway up a mountain with the views they woke up to...wunderbar
