As I said mate, mine were old, but still stretched when worn around the house, doing lots of crouching, and stuffing paperback books down the front, sides and back.

I stuffed a fire-extinguisher wrapped in a wet T-shirt in the top of one my Russian Cavalry/Officer boots and left it overnight. It worked quite well for me.
