I bought a pair of one size fits all repro trouser suspenders as sold by Epic a while back. I'm 1m90 (about 6’3”). Having dug my uniform out of storage after a recent purchase I noticed that with the suspenders at absolute maximum length, the trousers still sit about an inch above my belly button. I know that at the time they used to wear their trousers a lot higher, bit this seems a bit too high and it also makes them look a tad short bloused above the Gamaschen.

The question then is: Who sells longer suspenders?

Hi

im only 6"1 so ones i bought from Epic are fine for me, , the weight of the equipment on the belt balanced the position of the trousers nicely, but im not sure if they are fully extended. you could cut the back piece and insert an additional couple of inches of material or cut a hole lower down on the leather part that connects to the trousers. another option would be swapping with someone at the next event if they have bracers which extend further.

ill check mine tonight and see if they will extend further, if they do, they might just have sent a small pair, even though they should all be the same.

i moved the buttons on my trousers, on my other pair, i sewed the braces right on to the waistband of my pants front and back for extra length

I have them attached to a pair of jump trousers. Just had a look and I don't think I can squeeze out much extra length on the trousers' side. I could possibly undo the stitching on the suspenders, remove the adjustment clips and sow them up at maximum length.
