If this source of repro MG42's works out, that combo would look the business with one hanging off it! A couple of Kradmantels, and away you go!

Keep your eyes peeled on the mg thread in the KG SS forum, I'm just waiting for some photos of the MG replicas to see if an AEG is feasible. If it is, it'll be possible to have a full metal, AEG MG42 for less than half the price of a Shoei or Ultima. These are exciting times for us Krauts!
PS - Has Dave won the lottery or something?

Great Stuff !!... If you need the Font and size for your ID plates,.. let me know. A quick way is to get them done at your local Vinyl lettering supplier [most sign makers] .. then stick em on yourself. I have the SS eagle round stamp for the plates. Can stamp em up when at an event,..only takes a min.
The Mg mount has 2 cradle adaptors, 1 for a 34 and one for a 42,.... I would go for the 42.
The bike tends to drive you!.
.until you get use to it. It would be worth checking the boat and bike are toe and healed correctly,...this can help control the bike. If you don't know how,... I can send you details to do it yourself [as long as you can use a spanner]... and check the damper works on the steering.
When you get use to it,..don't be afraid to open it up,... too many bike owners, never get beyond 1st....not good for the bike.... I tend to ride fast,..so getting into top gear is quite normal for me.
If I can be of further help,... just shout ! ![]()
That looks sweet, Dave. Fancy bringing it to Ground Zero in July? ![]()
