Okay, I've read through the rules from Gunman airsoft over the limitations on ammunition but how exactly do I carry them out, do I get small plastic bags and count out each mag or is there a way which you gentlemen carry you alloted ammunition.

That is one way of doing it. But it isn't the easy way.

Since you carry all of your weekend's ammunition on you personally you simply re-load from your bulk supply at your regen. If the ammo limit is 300 rounds then just make sure you have three 100 round MP40 mags loaded, or three quarters of a Thompson hicap etc. Pre-preared bags of 100 rounds would be a bit pointless since you may (for example) be returning with 150 rounds of so need to top up to 300 rounds meaning you have to split up one of your pre-preared bags.

Airsoft is a game of trust - you know how much your mags hold, you know what the ammo limit is - simples.

PS - You can use little tricks like a speed loader pushes 4 BB's at per squeeze.
PPS - Some games may actually supply prepared bagged ammo but this isn't the norm
