after ill giogo pass looking at the pictures of yours truely i noticed for the first time how off the colour of my mesh goggles were.now im unfortunate enough to be a really sweaty person and find that no matter how anti-fog a pair of goggles are i can fog-em up so im stuck with mesh.now the goggles i had were od on the rims and black mesh and the pictures were verry telling,i diddnt look like darth vader but they were still an eyesaw.so... i thought why not paint them,so long as the mesh is black on the back there will be no glare and so long as the paint doesnt block the holes i'll still be able to see.
give me your opineon ,forgive the expression on my face,i was trying to take a photo at arms length.i think they are a little disturbing in the flesh but better than before.

You might want to test their ability to stop bb's. At one point I subjected the mesh in a http://www.rsov.com/product.php?langId= ... cateId=148 to a point blank shot with a Tanaka Kar98 on a hot summer day to test it and it went straight through. Notice that the mesh in these glasses are of the same "holes-stamped-through-plate" type as in your glasses. I admit that my test was a definite worst case scenario, but I prefer to err on the side of caution when my eyes are on the line.
the steel sheel on these is about 2mm thick and verry strong,these have been tested at 350 fps point blank and it barely marked them.the other thing to check on any set of safety eye wear it to shoot the frame as if that shatters then the lense or mesh falls out with obvious safety issues.
