Although CiA no longer exists, I thought it was worth a mention that this weekend marks the 10th anniversary of the first, large scale WW2 game and, the birth of this forum and community. To all of the comrades in arms that I made over the years, cheers!

Thanks Charlie. We had some great times for sure and, some of the events are still airsoft benchmarks for me. Sadly, many don't share your sentiments!

Thanks very much to CiA for all the hard work they put into raising the niche world of WW2 Airsoft in the UK to far greater and conjoined heights than it ever could have done with by pure reliance on site-run themed 'special' games. Though lurking from the inception of the forum, and finally joining a some months later in April 2007, I somehow never manged to make any CiA game through those following years, though attended (predominantly through the organisation and advertising of this forum) many other organisers games. I did however manage to attend the final CiA organised game, and did thoroughly enjoy myself.

It was a sad loss that you chaps who formed CiA felt that the tide had shifted and 'the creation' had altered into something 'the creators' did not like. I am so very grateful to David for his decision to keep this forum active for the rest of us to still benefit from, and to the others who still play a role as mods and admins.

Happy 10th CiA.
Gone, but the hobby's still benefiting from the legacy.
