anyone think this could be an intresting group to potray for an event?
i know kit could be hard to get but it would fit right in on a Battle of Berlin event

Good idea you would be able to recruit my 2 lads and I know of another 3 15 year olds to fit the part but it cannot be at a CIA game (No under 18`s). Just need someone to put on that type of game outside of CIA, looking at the wonderful Russian getups last weekend I think there would be no shortage of rampaging Russians for the invaders.

It is a bit of a niche look, but mixed in with some Volkssturm it would do for lots of 1945 actions, particularly in the east. In the west their main game role would be to surrender the minute the Amis pull into view...
Plenty of pics of Volksturm with re-chambered Lewis guns, which would be interesting.

I've always thought that Volkssturm and HJ were the best fit for axis airsofting in terms of authenticity. The too young and too old with little or no military experience.
It's a tough sell though. Most still prefer to go for a camo 'n' bling l33T impression 
I've already got an almost complete Volkssturm loadout, (just need a ww1 pattern lid) I'm just waiting for a 'Last Days of the Reich' game to use it.
If one comes up, I may go about converting my spare sten to an MP3008.
"The Boryszyn Loop" allowed Volkssturm units, just so you know.

Thinking about this, you guys could organise an game and involve your kids in the organisation. That'd be a great way to get them involved.
CiA took the decision to keep the events as +18 for practical reasons, and that's unlikely to change.
We'd fully support any event that involved under 18s through the forum, especially if they were involved in the organisation.

Thanks for the support things need to evolve and they have been to 2 events and Il giogo pass to come so couple more years and the next batch of gamers will be in the offering
