I`m not sure any group uses them anymore?

Individual group users post their own uniform restriction unique for each game put on. There is always movement on uniform rules and the original ones were put in place as there was not as much kit around. Better to get a game on than be too Stitch Nazi on the uniforms. Most groups have a lending kit thread so just ask if you need something

Thinking of organising a game and alot of players to the site do not have kit and thought the old cia idea may have worked mixed in with ww2 gear.

Off the top of my head they sort of went:

German Flkecktarn (Cheap as chips for SS camo)
Black boiler suits as dismounted tank crews

AK`s scrimmed with Hessian for Stg44
Rifles scrimmed with Hessian

I believe the important thing was the headware

Whereabouts are you thinking of putting a game on?
If you need advice on setting one up even if it is a basic game contact people on the forum who are organisers.

Yes, it was all pretty simple.

Proper hats (caps or whatever).

Otherwise clothes vaguely the right colour and shape (Swedish uniforms for Germans, Belgian Denisons/khaki wool jumpers and any old khaki trousers for British. I can't remember what they were for US). A cheap camo smock goes a long way.

The main thing is to try and make sure each side is distinguishable in terms of uniform colour and headgear. If they are all just wearing a random collection of green/brown/grey and a random collection of hats it gets very hard to tell each side apart.

For what it's worth, here are a couple of links:
https://www.ww2airsoft.org.uk/reference ... d-uniform/
https://www.ww2airsoft.org.uk/reference ... -uniforms/
https://www.ww2airsoft.org.uk/reference ... pons-list/

As said, this was a long time ago so some stuff not relevant, but you may be able to get something useful from it.

Edit: I see much of this is, if not all, is in the 2008 'Autumn Mist' old game link above.
