Hope someone can help - anyone ever seen this pattern before? Seems like 44 pea dot to me but with outlines around each 'dot'
Picked up a pair of trousers from this material in a job lot
Just wanted to find out if this is a true repro or a mistake on manufacturing part as i have never seen it before

looks like Peadot colours but it appears to have the shape of SS Oak Leaf pattern?????
Hi most 44dot material is printed with 5 colours,3 green and 2 brown.
Zib militaria sell a 4 colour, this is 2 green and 2 brown,i am sure on the product description it used to say that
the first prototype batches were 4 colour and that some of that was issued for field use, although they do edit their
web site often and it does not say that now.Or i may have read that on an american web site for German camo uniform
repros, this guy ,who i dont remember the name of has had material printed from batches of offcuts of original fabric.
He had many pictures showing how the pattern and colour shade could very according to what factory and when it was
produced in,Material shortges meant the colour shades altered late war.
Try this link to the zib product in question.

The dots do appear to have a more jagged outline ,although i think not the same you have,it does seem to be 44dot
4 colour in oakleaf pattern. It could have been printed who knows.
All sorts of of German production changes did hapen late war. Some STG44 were stamped STG45,this was incorect, factory
thought the 45 was production year an not year of introduction of product type.
