Right I know this has been discussed before but I can't find the thread also companies change policies so I'd like to get an updated assessment of which is the best service to use.

I know Royal Mail are obliged to handle 'Air Guns' however the maximum size they will take is 61cm x 46cm x 46cm so anything longer than 24 inches won't be accepted, which is ok for pistols and SMGs but not most rifles or LMGs

I've never had an issue when they were sent to me ,so you'd best just send them all here :D
Seriously either just mark it as toy parts or be honest and contact the courier and ask as the wind changes on RIF's all the time .

armoury
m1a1 Thompson,sten mk2,mp40,stg44,sterling,mk2 bren gun,lee Enfield no4 mk1,Mauser Kar98, Walther ppk,smith and Weston m10 and Mauser m712
Give me a big enough hammer and a place to stand and I could fix the world.
i'll kill a man in a fair fight or if i think he's going to start a fair fight or over a woman or.......
a problem shared is a problem halved ,but an advantage shared is no advantage at all
if a job's not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well

Parcelforce express. I have posted many airsoft guns including a BAR and MG34 using this service. They are allowed but must be express postage

I can say that I have done this! Posting within the UK is easy. Posting outside England / Scotland / Wales is something else though.

Even though myhermes say they dont post RIF's in there FAQ's. I have recieved RIF's and sent RIF's using there service without any hassle so far.
