The same rules will apply as normal airsoft, the limits will depend on which site the event is taking place at. 8)

most rifles used in ww2 airsoft are around the 400-500 fps range to give them the advantage over aeg's in range.the minimum engagement rule is also common to both types of airsoft so a side arm is important if you'r in that power range.its hard to find a bolt action gun with less than 400 fps stock power anyway.a scope is fine so long as it was used on the rifle in that period,so if a k98 was used with a scope then that's fine.enfield no 4's not so common to see a scope.

armoury
m1a1 Thompson,sten mk2,mp40,stg44,sterling,mk2 bren gun,lee Enfield no4 mk1,Mauser Kar98, Walther ppk,smith and Weston m10 and Mauser m712
Give me a big enough hammer and a place to stand and I could fix the world.
i'll kill a man in a fair fight or if i think he's going to start a fair fight or over a woman or.......
a problem shared is a problem halved ,but an advantage shared is no advantage at all
if a job's not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well

Do note that some of us prefer to use lower fps (i.e. AEG range) so that we don't have to carry a side arm or worry about engagement distances and can really get into a rifleman role rather than ending up being a bit snipery.

Before my health stopped me doing it... I preferred to play like Yith does.

TBH if your fieldraft is good enough i makes little difference being 350fps or 500fps, but with the lower setting you (as yith says) dont have to stress about whether your'e too close, fumble for a pistol etc etc. *but* some rifles are incredibly hard to set to sub 400 fps apparently.

But... the 350/500 debate has been done to death and is well worth a read if you search the threads for it. Rather than going over it all again here it might help you make up your mind

Edit: Theres probably too many scopes in WWII games anyway tbh... i dont personally use them - at airsoft ranges you dont really need one - if you cant see something 100 metres away you need glasses not a scope :)
