Some of you will know Tiny from the forum and the fact that his name was slightly ironic.

Here's a picture:

I met him yesterday and he's become a rather svelte looking chap and about the same size as his brother! (In the yellow topper above).

I was astonished and just wanted to warn people who are coming to the Führer game that you might not actually recognise him at first!

Incredible job Tiny!! What was it? Seven stone in 17 weeks??

For those of you who know me and Porta, apparently I look more like him now. there is a pic knocking about that was taken on sunday, but Porta has got it. You gonna stick it on then Tony? Or are you jealous now you're the fattest of us

Nice one, Tiny. :good:

Heh, I had to laugh at the view of one aristocratic Wehrmacht officer who said his overriding impression of the Führer was of his ill-fitting uniforms and his appalling table manners! :giggle:

Tiny's method was simple - he didn't eat anything! Heh, I had a stomach ulcer earlier this year - doctors were pathetic so I self-healed by fasting for six weeks, half of one meal only a day and drinking only water. Weight dropped off and stomach repaired itself. Who needs faddy diets - will power is sufficient.

I've heard the 'dysentry diet' works well... a pint of the worst ditchwater you can find and you'll shit yourself thin in days.

In all seriousness, nice on Tiny, i guess 'tiny' is appropriate rather than ironic now :)

Yes well done Tiny. Ultimately losing weight is 'simple', burn more calories than you take in, but doing it by willpower is very hard indeed.

The more task oriented among us need lists, targets, things to count etc.... as well as meal ideas which don't involve a ton of carbs.

Cheers
Martin

Nope, antacids and a 'see how it goes and come back in a couple of weeks'. Stuff that, I'm a busy man, I'm rather ill and don't have anyone to pay me to recuperate nor trot backwards and forwards to doctors.

Weird, the standard treatment for stomach ulcers now is antibiotics.

Helicobacter Pylori isn't a stomach ulcer, it's a very resistant bacteria which sits in your stomach and causes Gastritis (Stomach Inflamation) the cure is Triple Therapy (Metronidazole, Ciprofloxacin and Omeprazole - although there are other combos). For a Stomach ulcer you should be prescribed Omeprazole, Lansoprazole, Esomeprazole or Nexium. People also sometimes refer to it as Losec which is the older name for the drug.

Also, very well done Tiny, what a transformation. Wish I had the will power!
