Fitted my sten with a seleton stock, just hope my lipo battery & charger turn up in time for the weekend so I can use it like this.

OOh Pete, I like that! Where did you get it from? :)

I got it off ebay, I'd been looking for one for months.

Before I got this it was suggested to me that Chelmsford Militeria might have some, I did actually speak to the guy who runs it but he was just off on holiday he said to email him and he'd check when he got back, however this one came up before I did, so if you're after one it may be worth contacting him to see if he's still got any.

Does it have the same fitting as an airsoft one? (Viva, in my case.)

The fitting is different but with a small amount of dremelling/filing it can be made to fit, I'll take some pics when I get home.

All the ones I've seen have a hook on the bottom, rather than the short T-shaped "rail".

That'll be handy - I have one of the skeleton pistol grips I want to try, and that has the hook too.
What did you do about the large hole where the screw goes?

I found a large washer which I trimmed to fit, it's a temporary solution until I can get a proper spacer sorted

As you can see with just the standard screw in there's potential for the stock to slide downwards, the spacer I intend to fit will deal with that.

This is the hook on the stock I've filed it but not much.

This is where I've dremelled & filed the slot just needs a bit of tidying up.

Could you measure the diameter of the hole, and thickness of the metal where the hole is?
I'm planning to make a spacer/washer for the pistol grip I have.

Had a wander around the old Blanco factory - nothing to see related to manufacture now but still, felt the vibe.
Had a look at a small collection of Joseph Pickering products, most of which I've not seen before - further visit required for interviews and some photography I think...
