 To be fair, in BF3, I haven't used the M4 for a while now. I've been trying to get 500 kills with all of the main weapons as a bit of a challenge.

Saturday rather than today, but heh! My krad got some non-military service at a friends wedding as transport for the bride and groom to the reception :) As with the TV program "don't tell the bride" She had no idea and was a little shocked initially but was grinning like a cheshire cat when they arrived at the reception!

“I wanted to come to the Volga at a specific location at a specific city. By chance it carries the name of Stalin himself. So don’t think I marched there for this reason – it could carry another name – but because there is a very important goal... this goal I wanted to take – and you know – we are very modest, we have it already."
Adolf Hitler, November 1942

"Comrades, Red Army men, commanders and political workers, men and women guerrillas! It is on your perseverance, staunchness, fighting skill and readiness to discharge your duty to the country that the defeat of the German-fascist army and the liberation of the Soviet land from the Hitlerite invaders depend! We can and must clear the Soviet land of Hitlerite vermin."

I wouldn't worry about it. I didn't get my expected results and decided not to go to uni, despite being offered a place....at Stoke. :/

I had plenty more fun and life experience working as an actor and travelling around the whole country after doing an acting course instead of uni. I now work in film & TV.

spent a few hours wire wooling and oil quenching my mp40 after finding it was orange with rust all over despite being stored in the box indoors ,b@@ody birchwood casey chemical blue is not at all resistant to corrosion like proper oil bluing .some summer if its that humid and damp in the house :(
still looks nicer now than the chemical blue it was. :D

am still staring at the noxious sweaty rags that are by BD trousers and Denison from Greenback and wondering if I chance bunging them in the washing machine or leave em battle stinky.

air em out and fabreze if necessary, washing wool bd is labour intensive unless you want a set for you'r action man.

I just chuck mine in the washing machine on the wool setting and on a low temperature, never had any problems with them shrinking.

Went to the military odyssey at Maidstone (detling), very poor, was only about 60-70% of the stalls and displays that were their last year and not a lot of people around either. But still got a new blued belt buckle for my FJ kit and a trouser belt. Was going to buy some brown leather web belt an bits fom Underwoods but was shocked at the poor quality of the leather compared to the the landser ones I got off here a recently, also the FJ jump smocks are a very thin material and come with a nasty eagle on a sand coloured background on them, a shame as always thought his gear was top notch.

Leave 'em to stink! I never wash my field kit, I just scrape off any encrusted mud after letting it dry. My anklets are still minging with embedded crud after "Autumn Mist"!

Just put them on a washing line to air - that's enough.
