..well sunday actually. Visited scottsdale, AZ gun club and was pleasingly greeted by the sound of automatic fire and had soon hired out a psh41 and 1928 thompson for a blatt down their range. All very pleasing, particularly when you let the clip go all in one. Surprisingly not too much recoil, although the PPSH sighting is a little more tricking when you have a stream of cartridges ejecting out of the top. Only other ww2 toys their were a sten III and m1 carbine, although they did have a whole raft of modern stuff incl an M60, but that hire bill on that was beyond the budget. Amusingly the assisting range master did have a loaded .45 down the back of his pants just in case anybody got a bit excited...

Boo. Get a bigger memory card - piddly things that come with cameras are a waste of time!
I had an oldish bloke bring me a card from a camera he had used for the first time on a foreign holiday. He was chuffed as he had found out how to get more pics without filling up the camera. I nearly fell over when he showed me that he had managed to get something like 250 shots on the 128kb card. Little coloured smudges they were. :slap:
