my first ww2 game "Alsos" cant remember who ran it sure i remember gadge and headshot but could be wrong , still the best days airsoft of any type i have had , some great moments - like asking for some one to carry the hvy machine gun and you have 10+ germans all look around as marsha steps forward :giggle: thou got 3 good kills off that , then a grenade igniting in my hand and burning it and only thing i had to cool it was orange lucozade sport , turns out not the best thing ,but who ever parked next to us , many thanks as the kind chap had a burns kit on him :) fantastic day all around

Oddballs tunnel game as we tried to fight our way in and letting the ruskies charge first (was polite :happydance: ) but hearing his tank in the tunnels , also portas bird scarer going off , so many good moments again , including porta charging after us a few times with russian flag geting shot and a film worthy death each time.

But favorite moment on its own was at Gothic, 9 of us spread out in a line patrolling across the long grass near the start and looking around and thinking this is whats its about (the look and feel etc) then moments later getting ambushed by sneaky germans who kept popping up and down out of the long grass like those bash the mole arcade games. another great day :)

worst moment 6am on the day of the last tunnels game and the wife tells me she to ill for me to go and having to greet my friends who all meeting here first and watch them go :(

Worst moment: Waking up at the first D-Day game and realising that the several bottles of red wine I drank had had quite an effect on me.

Trying to lead the Germans in the dunes on a reasonably warm day with a terrible hangover wasn't great.

Still, the rest of the event was fun once I'd recovered!

Best was Hauptmann Horn. the ruse coming off so wonderfully before my eyes I could not stop grinning. Also Schaulen, when we ambushed the jeep. Again every part of the plan worked perfectly. We knew where they would stop, what they would do and it felt like a real proper plan coming together- apart from the 'proper airsofter' with us who did not get the whole 'following orders bit' but hey ho, we worked in spite of it.

so yeah, those two really stand out as the function of what we were doing felt so natural and... 'in the moment'. There have been times when I have seen perfect landscapes of soldiers but it has always been the functionality over the look that has fluttered my heart.

Mine is from the first CiA event, there were 3 of us Yanks in a trench and my comrades were picked off one by one. I couldn't see much of the germans and I didn't last much longer. Once they were sure we awere all gone these scruffy heer proceeded to file through our trench and I thought "Feck, it's the whole fecking wermacht!" I think that is when I decided that this was going to be just soooo much better than the open days or even the 'nam days I had been to.

Alsos was AGS as I recall. Agreed a fine game indeed, much fun as the partisans. We never knew which side we would be harrasing, or what the other partisans politics were. Great fun. Especialy when we took the U.S HQ without a fight and then captured Bedsnherts

For me the 2 best have been Arnhem & Anarchy under the Eagle.
Arnhem was a great site what a shame it has gone, would have made a great Stalingrad site.
Was the first time Alex got in game and we drove all the way there in uniform in the open jeep great drive but I was freezing on the way over the moors. Drive home was also fun made a wrong turn and drove straight through Manchester centre with 30cal still mounted on a Sunday night.

Anarchy first game I ran with Porta & Tiny, I didn't do much if any shooting but got to see the game from all 3 sides, Russian, German & American it was great to see all the perspectives for each team.
For me it was the best tunnel game I had been to but I am biased a little , first time I got to use the tank in a game and what a first driving in pitch black tunnels. Also got the M3AT gun used by Tiny & Porta all afternoon that made me happy I had made it. Got to get the M3 back in game this year some time.
