Just thought I'd see if anyone was interested in this. Pre World War 2 vintage German Continental 340 typewriter, complete with carry case, dates from around 1938, serial no. R 161208. The case is in need of repair and is a bit worn but the typewriter is in working order, although it could probably do with a new ribbon, the old ribbon still types legibly (new ones are available for around £3). I bought this awhile ago as I intended to print a repro few certificates and then type on the name, date etc, but never got round to getting any certificates printed. Thought someone might want it as a prop or for some set dressing for re enactment. Pick up prefered but will post, it is heavy. £95 picked up from Southampton, or posted plus £12.
