D-Day - Operations and intoduction to WW2 Airsoft
Battle weekender, GASS, Piddington Training Area, Oxon.
April 24th-25th 2010
ONLY £35 for the whole weekend or £20 for either day.

Welcome to D-Day events and WW2 Airsoft with GASS & Gunman Airsoft’s ‘Operations’ WWII Battle weekends.

"Operations" is a social gathering for both sides to prepare for war and build up comradeship within the units.
Set up for both Axis and Allies to practice their missions for the various WW2 main events throughout the year.
You’ll get to meet and bond with your squads, but most important thing, having a bally good time is top of the list!

"Introduction to WW2 Airsoft" is also geared towards Airsofters who would like to play Word War 2 Airsoft for the first time, getting to grips with rules, props, and field artillery etc in an easy, relaxed environment.
GUNMAN Airsoft will have Full Rental Packages available, i.e Rifle and Uniform (Both Sides) for £20 for the weekend.
(Book in early for Rental Packages. Once they are gone, they are gone.)

The event will begin at 10am Saturday and finish at around 3-4 pm Sunday.

GASS & GUNMAN will be providing a number of marshal driven vehicles to be used in the game, as well as field artillery, outposts, gun emplacements and the very best props and set dressings courtessy of GUNMAN AIRSOFT.

Both days will be filled with missions setting up for various events later in the year.
For the purpose of making the event work, the AXIS and ALLIED troops will shoot against each other, pretending that both sides are just soldiers from their own side using the enemies’ uniforms and weapons.

To keep the "realism" of the weekend, no modern weapons please or Hi-Cap mags (MP44 Hi's allowed as no mids are available, M14's and bolt actions allowed if fully scrimmed up).
Please try to make every effort in load out too.
As above, GUNMAN have Full Load-Outs to rent for £20 for the weekend!

Tempting.

For those of us without our own transport,

What would be the nearest train station?
Any buses?
What would be the expected cab fare from station to site?

To the tune of "Mademoiselle from Armentières"

Napoleons army ran away, As you do
The guard stood firm for Frances Pride, As you do
They said the guard will stand and die
But we heard what their Colonel cried
It wasn't pretty I tell you.

its an old template bud, originally we had seperate camps on events so they could stay in game all weekend, but with the Ops weekends they are more social so to drop the seriousness of the fighting during the day we made Ops weekends friendly all day/weekend. Thus as far are your conserned, when playing out a senario the opersition are men from your own side dressed as enemy.

Band of brothers first episode, Brit dressed as a German as the yanks walk by :good:

get it?? :happyclap:
