Would anyone know who sell the best value basic Heer belts and buckles.. Maybe not both from the same supplier?
Or do any forum members have one for sale? I need about a 105cm belt size..
Regards Chris

The Epic ones seem as good as any for a cheap and cheerful look (I think they are identical to the SoF ones). Belt around 15 quid and buckles 14.

The belts are very cheap and nasty leather but I found that several coats of dubbin makes them a lot more supple. I also had a problem with the locating prongs pushing out of their cheap aluminium buckles in use, easily fixed with a dab of superglue and bending the prongs slightly with a pair of pliers.

Cheers
Martin

I bought a cheap brown leather belt from Epic as a "spare" but wasn't happy with the plasticky finish applied to the top side. It took five minutes to strip that off, apply some stain, polish and wax and I ended up with a pretty decent rough out finish.

However, to save any effort at all, you can't go wrong with Richard Underwoods belts. Very good quality. I have both brown (FJ ) and black Heer. The black one I just received is gorgeous.

RETIRED, thanks for some truly memorable times and great people
