Brilliant Gordon! :happyclap:

To coin another cliche, God is in the detail and it's the little things like this that add to the overall immersion of the whole event. :good:

“I wanted to come to the Volga at a specific location at a specific city. By chance it carries the name of Stalin himself. So don’t think I marched there for this reason – it could carry another name – but because there is a very important goal... this goal I wanted to take – and you know – we are very modest, we have it already."
Adolf Hitler, November 1942

"Comrades, Red Army men, commanders and political workers, men and women guerrillas! It is on your perseverance, staunchness, fighting skill and readiness to discharge your duty to the country that the defeat of the German-fascist army and the liberation of the Soviet land from the Hitlerite invaders depend! We can and must clear the Soviet land of Hitlerite vermin."
Joseph Stalin, November 1942

Couldn't we borrow the one from Bovington? It is only up the road. We might have to club together for petrol though.

I've driven an FV432, I'm sure a Tiger can't be any harder :)

Cheers

'fraid the Tiger 1 at Bovington doesnt have an engine in it at the moment. And a 432 is completely different from driving a Tiger

The Bovington Tiger rarely runs - they couldn't even get it running when Otto Carius visited a few years back. I'd settle for a Panzer IV....

They look great Gordon :good: Except Berta being Bruno (Blame Andy :giggle:) and if it is Berta it should actually be Bertha!

That is according to the plate on the top of my original FF33 anyway!

Actually Berta is a bona-fide German name so you're good either way :D

EDIT: According to more than one website, the German phonetic alphabet is Anton, Berta, Cäsar so I think you were right first time
