Company Headquarters have recieved telegrams warning them;

The next big event, Jack's Wood - WW2 Airsoft Event!
Date:
9,10,11th December 2022
Location:
The Trail, breach lane, Swindon, SN4 7QR
Who will you fight for? the Valiant 10st Airborne or the German Grenadiers?
Impressions:
All German impressions (Preferably Heer and SS, but not essential) will be acceptable along with all American Impressions (preferably 101st! But not essential).
Full Catering available!
Story:
The 101st Airborne Division, with no air support due to the fog hold out on the line and hope that the weather changes! In the dead of winter, the men of Easy Company fend off frostbite and hunger - in addition to the enemy - while holding the line in a forest outside of Bastogne.
Objectives:
• PATROL – Easy COY, 506th, 101AB send out reconnaissance patrols into the local area in order to establish where German lines are located. Then Proceed with Fighting patrols to clear Local AO of any German Resistance.
• HOLD – Easy COY, 506th, 101AB must hold the defensive lines and counter attack if needed. The Germans must not get through! The Staging Area must remain protected!

As we continue the build up to the Jack's Wood - WW2 Airsoft Event, at StrikeForce Airsoft, The Trail, we have started the mission planning and commander's breifings!
The Allied Commanders will be issued with;
- Western Union Telegram from the Battalion CP
- A hand drawn map of the Bastogne area. (ground in general from 1944)
- An orders breifing sheet
- Map of the area (ground in detail)
- Battle Drills sheet
As a Section Commander, YOU will be issued;
- An orders breifing sheet
- Map of the area (ground in detail)
- Battle Drills sheet
Make sure you adheer to your commander intent. You may lose this event if the orders are not followed.

Carrying on that build up to the Ardennes Offensive game this December, Jack's Wood, based on the story of the 101st Airborne in the Bois Jacques.

DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE WEATHER! NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE Obviously with the latest Frontline event, Jack's Wood - WW2, its time to remind you now to start looking for period "warm kit" and layers for under your period kit.
Last year we did the Ardennes event in November, during Storm Arwen, and it was down to -15°C with windchill!
A lot of people turned up with the bare minimum and were very cold. 
You should aspire to have the following, in addition to your uniform;
- Gloves
- Scarf
- Warm coat
- Hat (For under your helmet?)
- Layers for under your uniform
- Fire wood
A great peice of generic warm kit for both sides of the war is the great coat for the US or mantel for the Germans (if you want to avoid some of the horrific repro camouflage patterns we would recommend a mantel).

Where are all the yanks hiding?
Could this be the LAST yank game from Frontline Events?
Players Torin and Jaii search a wounded enemy for "int".
This December will be the most atmospheric airsoft/reenactment of the Ardennes Offensive ever run by Frontline Events.
It will be the most realistic yet! All new sound effects and pyro setup! At points you will feel as though you are in a Holywood movie!
The battle will make it feel like no other game in the UK!
Who will you be?
- Squad Leader?
- Rifleman?
- Machine Gunner?
- Sniper?
