DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE WEATHER! 
Obviously with the latest Frontline event, Jack's Wood, its time to remind you now to start looking for period "warm kit" and layers for under your period kit.
Last year we did the Ardennes event in November, during Storm Arwen, and it was down to -15°C with windchill!
A lot of people turned up with the bare minimum and were very cold. 
You should aspire to have the following, in addition to your uniform;
- Gloves
- Scarf
- Warm coat
- Hat (For under your helmet?)
- Layers for under your uniform
- Fire wood
A great peice of generic warm kit for both sides of the war is the great coat for the US or mantel for the Germans (if you want to avoid some of the horrific repro camouflage patterns we would recommend a mantel).
STAY WARM THIS WINTER! 
Im sure an American using a German coat to stay warm may have even been a thing!
