It needs to be re-named bloody Kolner Dom.
Yith got shot in the mouth as he was talking and his gum shield just dropped for a moment and he has 2 chipped teeth 1 top 1 bottom.
Porta who was CO on the US team got a full auto blast in the neck as we approached some stairs as he moved over I was shooting the same guy who got him and I got hit in the face. My cheek is bleeding and one gave me a bloody nose, my hand got shot and is bleeding and when I got in the car to come home I looked in the mirror and my nose was bleeding from the inside and the BB was still in my nostril
It's a good site quite dark and the guys run it well.
It was a great bunch of guys today no complaining and all worked as a team.
Just looked on facebook here is Tiny

Well as long as everyone had a good time!
Actually only one tooth shot out here. It didn't hurt at all at the site, but now it hurts at a bad un.
But I guess at least the bb isn't in there any more!
So quite an "eventful" day then!

Fortunately due to my "action man" mask I avoided facial (or dental) injury...
...but someone did place an MP40 on the back of my hand through a hole, and full auto'd it, which wasn't appreciated!
Overall a good hard fought day though.

My new smile...
Jesus Rich! That looks expensive!
When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!
Not really, I even got a free bb with it.
I'm hoping the dentist won't want an arm and a leg as well... but you know dentists!
You know what's worse... I was wearing my gumshield when this happened! The bb sneaked over the top of it!
My new smile...
Been there, done that. Fortunately my dentist did a good job without emptying my bank account.
The missis was less sympathetic, hence the wearing of full face isn't entirely down to my good sense, but is caused equally by a good measure of fear of "her indoors".

Luckily Rachel just smiles knowingly... She knows how much I love airsofting.*
(*I suspect it might be due to the piles and piles of WWII stuff than have taken over certain areas of the house.)
Yes, it was a bit bloody, but I guess it is CQB with AEGs.... I got away with just a bloody nose which the family reeled away in horror from in a supportive kind of way
Anyway, good site and good missions which generally managed to avoid the CQB problem of logjams at particular points as there weren't huge numbers of players and there were plenty of places to move around.
Thanks to Porta & Tiny for a great day out and I think playing the site with rifles for Pavlovs House is going to be awesome.
P.S. The flamethrowers and molotovs worked really well, and people really good about taking their 'grenade' hits.
Cheers
Martin

yer i escaped any injury except the shame of blowing 4 of out team up in the last game with a wayward nade
but all in all think most of the time it was kept to very short low bursts , and we had a good time not a massive cqb fan but was fun today and made a bit of a change as always porta makes it funny and sure tiny probably did as well for the Germans
my hats off to the German who got up the tunnel bit to the top lvl and got a nade in killing about 5 of us
and thanks all those that made some great sound effects when we had the flame throwers going which were great fun
Yes, it was a fun game right up to the tooth incident. Well done to all!
It took me a while to decide that enough was enough. I didn't want any more damage to the tooth, not from being shot at that was highly unlikely, but it is quite fragile now and I didn't want anything to go wrong in an adrenaline filled moment.
So, if we get a campaign medal for this, I take it that it'll be red, and white...
...but the white will have chip out of the corner!
(Sorry Yith, couldn't resist)

Ahh you beat me to it, just all RED I think

I must say the token system used was perfect and the way to go for difficult to run sites.
Each side had a set number of tokens for lives for each team. Every time you were shot you went back to regen and moved a token from the live box to the dead box.
The game organisers pre set the number of tokens to adjust the strength of each team. So you can balance the teams if one team is short of men or has a harder task they get more tokens.
I wish we had used that a Dirty Dozen!

Agreed, the tokens worked well, as did the flamethrowers and Molotov's. All great ideas for the site/game.
"I was fabulous, and it was a bloody good laugh."
Agreed on the tokens, I also think the molotovs were actually MORE effective than normal pyros as it was very obvious when and where they landed (unlike Mk Vs which just go 'bang' and sometimes people miss them).
The 300 round ammo limit seemed largely irrelevant as generally I was dead after half a mag. I think once I made it onto my third magazine, but I think you still need a tight limit to discourage general spraying of BBs.
Not so sure about ricochet hits counting, yes it avoids confusion, but there were a few cases of people simply spraying fire off walls hoping to bounce hits off the walls and down along corridors, which seemed a bit gamey. On balance, probably best to keep ricochet hits but couple it with tight ammo limits to discourage spray n' pray.
Lots and lots of blue on blue, which was quite funny really.
Cheers

Thanks to everyone who attended,
the game was a pleasure to run, and im glad people liked the flamethrower and molotov ideas.
Im now an advocate of full face masks, i took an awful hit right on the beak, and its still bleeding now.
unlike nigels mine was on the point of the nose and the bb hit the cartilage so it didnt go in fully.
i did tell everyone to wear face masks , then didnt myself.
Its a personal choice, but i will always recommend people do wear them in CQB
Thanks to everyone for some great sportsmanship, and a good sense of humor from all
the game played quite well, just sorry for the in between mission breaks dragging on a bit longer than id hoped. a bit more polish needed on our "between game downtime"
ill post the few piccys i took tonight/tomorrow/ my camera got bent to buggerey halfway through the day and is a write off, but hte piccys are on the mem card
