After having a look through my equipment, I can offer the following to lend.

1 basic set of P37 webbing consisting of a belt (Size: Small, probably 34" waist), Mk.III pouches with quick release tabs and x straps.

1 pair of puttees. (British)

1 Mk.IV Turtle Helmet (Before it's time but if it's allowed it's available, currently has a Mk.III neck strap).

1 Parachute regiment beret with a silver badge. (Size: Large).

1 Commando Beret with a cloth Special Service Brigade cap insignia sewn on. (Size: 62).

If someone has some spare L-straps they can use my Large pack if they need it to carry large objects.

And lastly, though it's probably of no use to anyone except officers, a peaked cap size 58.

Weapons:
King Arms M1928 Thompson Submachine Gun
AGM Sten Mk.II
CYMA M1911 EAP

Looking for a Thompson or Sten to loan (i'll give a bit of money for the two days) would be a big help as I can't get my UKARA sorted by this date unfortunately. Picking up a set of P37 webbing, a Denison and maybe some gaiters tomorrow so should have a fair bulk of the kit sorted by the 10th.

Hi Tommy1911, Just wondering if that Para beret is still up for lending?

Most certainly, sir.

If you're in luck and I get a job as operational commander or some form of rear echelon job, you could borrow my Thompson on the standard, "you break it, you pay for it" method.

And it's Tommy9151, not 1911.

Well that's spiffing mate! I'll keep looking for a weapon loan until nearer to the time and we know the crack! Also reserve the putties if possible. I may have something in the works but for now could use them as a replacement for a pair of gaiters.

Sorry about that :slap: , My brain's all over the show atm, decorating time (and in this weather no less). I'll be sure to get it right next time!

No worries, sir.

It's only a name. As for the weather, I found it rather awful. Autumn and winter have always been the best seasons due to them being cold in my opinion.

I have someone interested in the HBT jacket and trousers, belt and Y straps, can you bring them to the game so they can try them on?

Cheers

As it looks like the weather maybe a tad warm, Has anyone a German smock I could borrow as I think I'm going to cook in a wool tunic.

Thanks guys

No sorry, if no one can lend a smock the other alternative is to wear the shirt only with shoulderboards fitted from the jacket and sleeves rolled up. It was quite a common look in the Med.

Im lending kit to 3 people for this one and trying to make sure they have wet weather wear, normal or hot weather options is a nightmare :slap:
