Hey,
Finally got round to starting to merge my interests in WW2 and airsoft. I must admit at this stage I'm more interested in the guns than full kit, being in the North East I'm not aware of any WW2 games (certainly no dedicated WW2 sites) that close by so no real rush.
My first WW2 gun, a 2nd hand ASG Stg44, should be arriving in a few days and if everythings alright with it I'll be giving it a go next weekend up against the modern day guns of the local site.
Currently drowning myself in reading up on other guns that have caught my eye but my bank account is already screaming.
Partly based on that desire to get various different guns I'm considering piecing together enough stuff to make a resistance (probably Polish) load out once I figure out exactly what kind of trousers/jackets/shirts and jumpers were common to farmers amd labourers, basically hard wearing civilian stuff for guerrilla fighting in.
Early days and already far more ideas running about in my head than time, money or knowledge will allow...
...a worrying start indeed.
Hello and welcome!
Cheers
Martin

Welcome, fellow Scottish bloke.
Not sure just how far North we're talking here, but I think the closest site to you that does WW2 themed days on a semi-regular basis is The Hill in Dundee. Failing that you could make a holiday of it and roll on down to Bonnybridge and play at Players of War!
Good luck to you and your wallet.

Give me a big enough hammer and a place to stand and I could fix the world.
i'll kill a man in a fair fight or if i think he's going to start a fair fight or over a woman or.......
a problem shared is a problem halved ,but an advantage shared is no advantage at all
if a job's not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well
Aye Dundee is the closest maybe an hour, hour and a half, certainly going to have to check it out.
From Edinburgh originally and got family down there still so Bonnybridge is certainly on the cards somewhere.
