Hi,
i cant get my m1 garand to work correctly, i have tried to fill it with gas and then load it with clip of BB's, once cocked i pull the trigger and it releases all the gas.
i was advised to cock the rifle fill with gas then put a clip of BB's in but this had the same result..............
im under the impression that there is a specific way to load this gun to make it work correctly.............
does anyone have a m1 garand and can they help me to get mine working.........

Always fill the gas with the bolt to the rear, if it blows its gas it could need the blowback seal lubing.
Remove the gun from the wood work, you should see a brass tube about 1/2 dia and 6" long, this is your blow back tube. Cocj the gun and you will see a silver plug. Remove this and lube the o ring.
That always got mine working.
