Alright lads,

I've done bits of airsoft in the past but want to take the big leap into ww2 as I've always been fascinated with the time period and will be "attempting" a US para load out any advice would be appreciated !

Catch you all later.

on a more serious note 2 good kit guides on here

http://www.ww2airsoft.org.uk/us-82nd-airborne/

http://www.ww2airsoft.org.uk/us-101st-airborne/

i would say dont go with a officer look etc , and try to get to a few games if you can , even if you dont have all the kit often folks will have kit to lend

and welcome :)

Welcome to the forum!

Best advice is to get the essentials first and worry about the 'fancy' items as and when you need them. I'd go for gun, uniform, webbing and helmet first and then build from there :good:

You'll get more use from a generic US infantry loadout though there are some games featuring US Airborne coming up later this year for you! 8)

Hello and welcome,

as noted above, there are some games in for the year featuring US Airborne, but you'll probably get more use from generic infantry. I think the glider regiments wore standard infantry uniforms, but US isn't my speciality.

Main thing is to get signed onto some events. Hope to see you soon.

Cheers

I see I might roll with a generic infantry uniform then if that's the case, just me and a few mates wanted to make our own little airborn unit xD

Would you guys say thompson is a good choice I don't have ukara yet but I belive one of my mates does.

Hope to get to a game soon with you lot

Cheers, Carrick
