Hello all!

I'm from a small village just outside Chelmsford, Essex.
I've recently got back into airsoft and since obtaining the UKARA, have brought nothing but German WW2 era weapons (Dont even ask why :P)
I recently made the decision to give WW2 airsoft a go and have brought some kit too, once it all arrives i'll be looking at trying of these game day/ weekends.

Any recommendations?

Jack

Hello Jack and welcome to the forum!

Glad to hear you have the WW2 bug, there are quite a few games planned in the South over the coming months so you shouldnt find it tricky to get along to an event. In regards to kit, dont rush in but have a shop around and get the basics first. There are kit guides at the top of the forum, aim for the basics, then you can choose to expand upon your collection over time. Oh, and feel free to ask questions, everyone is friendly here! :D

Hi Jack,
welcome to forum and the WWII scene.
Don't worry too much about kit. Book on get into the swing of things.
There plenty of people that will lend you kit, if you need it.
What kind of load out are you working on?
Feel free to ask questions, plenty of knowledge on the forum.
Cheers
Lutz

Kit wise, i just have the basic field uniform (M43) and a collection of random bits of webbing that i have aquired.

I take particular interest in the gebirgsjager, so i'd probably build something around that.

Those kit guides are really good, been reading them for ages while i was debating whether to look into WW2 or not!

With German load out, it is best to go for basic infantry first as it will give you the right gear for most games. Changing it to Gebirgsjaeger is easy.
I sew GJ batch on and take my ski cap along.
I saw that you have quite some armoury. Nice.

willkommen

All said ask away we are all nice on here and get to a game. No point having a wardrobe full of kit that never gets used.

There are number of games coming in the South.
At the end of the month there is an introductory game at Gunman Eversley site Hants £20 i think, then a game in Worthing and then we have in May again at Eversley The Last Stand Arnhem

So book on and ask if you need anything :good:

Welcome to the forum! I'm also from Essex and normally skirmish at Billericay. Don't suppose you've been to Skirmish Airsoft Billericay? There was a guy there a few weeks ago that had a lot of german ww2 guns.

Regards,

Ralph

Yeah that's the guy! I remember you showed my mate the long barrelled luger. I was dressed as a Russian that game.

Good to have you on board. Hopefully see you at some skirmish games too.

Ralph

Sounds good to me! I'm more or less at Skirmish every weekend, depending on work.
Team Achtung sounds like a good name!
