Hello to one and all. I am new on here but have a recently developed taste for airsoft and a long-standing interest in WW2 and history in general. I am 47-years young and what I really love about airsoft is the number of guys my age or thereabouts who have the same love of dressing up and shooting one another as I do with the same 12-year old relish! Anyway i live on the Lancs-York border and take part every other week in airsoft games. Having recently bought an ASG Sten my passion and interest in WW2 was rekindled... that said I'm actually leaning towards a generic US army/maybe Para loadout but that's for the future. Anyway I've had a quick scan through some threads on here and there seems to be some sound knowledge interspersed with other random thoughts and opinions! All looks like good fun and so long as that's the key objective then all is well for me. Look forward to contributing and sharing/learning with you all.

cheers

Martin

Hello and welcome,

hope to see you at a game soon, and at many events people will lend out uniforms etc if you haven't got anything.

Cheers

welcome :) and every one knows US infantry is the way forward ;)

its finding what you like the most , Germans as a rule always get a game so there kit gets more use, but yanks dont get a good run for there money :)

and as martin says most games will either have loan kit or folks will lend bits out :)

Cheers fella's. I have the makings of a US kit already and apart from my boots being a more modern Para boot I would probably pass using the '10-paces' rule, I have an M1 helmet and some US webbing as well as a Thompson turning up at weekend. Are there many WW2 games in the north of England?
