Hello, I'm guessing that we spoke last Sunday at Worthing? (I was one of the Germans.)

Nice to meet you last sunday - i was in the belgian para (saving up for a SOF Denison and BD). You must have been parky in the MK2 helmet. Try geting a commando beret - very warm.

Fred Delius who comes to Worthing does his Dad's loadout - RM Commando. There's a thread somewhere here about it.

BTW i particulalry liked your lookalike conversion to a NO4 - genius!

If worst comes to worst I'll lend you my ersatz NO4 (T) for Brittany - might meed heavier BBs for it to be more accurate- the green ones?

Did you manage to check out the greatcoats - this is the shop I got mine from for £15.

Otherwise Sabre Sales is well worth a try - best to go and visit don't go nuts like I do and spend, spend, spend ( actually its good value and Dickie really know his stuff.

Welcome indeed.

As one for kroots mates, I'll likely shoot vaugely* in your direction at the Brittany game.

I look forward to seeing the lewis gun in action.

*a fair assessment of my best shooting.

lol hurrah, with my enfield in its current state you will know if im shooting vaguely in your direction because bb's will be hitting the ground at your feet* or the odd bayonet charge...

*the hopup is dead. :D

and yeah i hear there is a destinct absence of any competition of this mg42 in the making. if the allies get the lewis, the germans get the mg42, i assume the french get a large white flag?

edit: how did i miss... hello jimbo!

White flags?

Support weapons?

We don't need no heavy weapons.

We have the Gaullic shrug; In formation!

personally i would prefer a support gun.... than a shrug, but who am i to question the martial genius of the french? :D

call it a ruse de guerre

Well we may, one day, work on an FM24/29.

Till then SMGs + hit and runs will have to stand in.

Hi PH, welcome to the forum. We've probably bumped into each other at Worthing. I play down there in my gear when I can. I'll be one of the krauts for you and Fremsley to shoot at on the 21st. Looking forward to having a look at the No4 lookalike.

Hpokins No4 is easy to mock, but fair play to the fella with an absolute zero budjet he took a Bar 10 and made it look like a No4 from 20 yds, and with his basic kit he plays against the G36boxmag guys on an open day, knowing half the pings pff his helmet are from his own team, because they like the sound, Hopkins takes it all in his stride, keeps calm and carrys on :good:

Welcome. You could've had your own thread, y'know!

I was at Worthing on 3rd Jan - the German not wearing the greatcoat. What's your planned kit then? (You can PM me if you want to keep it under wraps!)
