Hi all
Newbie to the forum.....
Been airsofting for a little while but tbh i am finding it a bit 'walty' and lacking in substance a bit, can get a bit boring doing capture the flag etc etc, anyway ive always had a huge interest in Ww2 history, in particular the german perpective on the eastern front.
Ive started to get some gear up together (german) im looking at late war waffen ss infantry( seems apt as an ex infantryman myself) and have most of the stuff i think i need, still need to get some more webbing items though,
Anyway looking forward to coming to my first event, looking at march for my first one, any pointers or advice most welcome.

First the forum has a wealth of knowledge about kit etc so ask before buying Buy it nice or Buy it twice
Second don`t worry about kit too much the important thing is to get to games. Not much point having re enactor kit and it all sitting at home in the wardrobe. If you don`t have stuff most games have a kit lending thread on a bend and mend ethos.
You will find all sorts of games on here from the more entry level game to encourage new people to the more restrictive rule set to really give the atmosphere of what it was like to be a soldier in WW2.
See you at Nordwind in Feb
Have a look at our game in May Yje Last Stand not too far from you and SS Grenadiers needed to take on the paras
Hello and welcome aboard! Just to echo what Gordon said above, don't worry about your kit to begin with, people are always happy to lend kit out. See you at Nordwind & hopefully at Last Stand too!
Matt
Welcome and nothing to add to the above. Come along And have fun. See you on the field of battle giving the allies a beating
Welcome to the forums!
Looking forward to seeing you at Nordwind.

Welcome to the forum matey, always good to see new ww2 players. There are a few ww2 players not far from you, myself included.
Don't suppose you were at Spartan airsoft recently, as chatted to a couple of guys who were putting together german load outs?
Have a good one and enjoy.
Phil
No mate wasnt me, only played at strike force swindon and gloucester and recently been up to black op cribbs,
Ive spoken to a few people who are interested in doing WW2.
Andy
Andy, Phil,
Great to hear there some more players interested. If it is a matter of kit holding them back to come to the game, I have a fair bit of German Kit to lend Heer, FJ.
Cheers
Lutz
Lutz, myself and a couple of pals like to go to open days in our ww2 kit, always generates interest.
Hello and welcome,
As noted above, stitch perfect kit isn't required, and we have piles of stuff to lend out if needed. There are already several games scheduled so get booked on and I hope to see you at an event soon.
Cheers
