Most games tend to be ETO based so keep that in mind

hello an welcome to the forum 
Theres been 1 or 2 desert games done, but most ww2 organised games are Europe based. so desert uniform wouldn't fit in with the game.
Theres nothing to stop you going to skirmishes in ww2 kit though, anything gos at a skirmish.
