Welcome to the forum Mark. Reenactment training with airsoft weapons sounds a very progressive step. It has been much advocated by some quarters here on the mainland but fallen on rather deaf ears I'm afraid - the obsession with things that go bang seems embedded, rather than concerns for more realistic self-survival and tactical actions that shooting with projectiles creates.

A trip across the water aint far at all, we had talked about the club attending shows but going to a weekend battle would be better craic, be bringing that idea up at the next meeting
