Joe, 16 here.

Looking at getting some WW2 gear. I've always been fascinated by it: I've been watching WW2 documentaries since I was born! (or at least it feels that way...)
Absolutely love the look of the Germans, and also their weapons (MP40 in particular). So I think I'll be going for the Heer look.

Do you have to be present with an over 18 at most of the events you run?

If anyone's got any Heer uniform they're selling then give me a shout, I might be interested.

Thanks everyone.

Hi Joe, welcome to the forum.

The age limit is a mixed picture - some 18+, others younger, notably Gunman Airsoft games when you can also rent a uniform for free and hire a WW2 gun at modest cost. Gunman's next game is in November so no need to wait to get all the kit, just get stuck in.

Hi Joe,

several of us in the Sheffield/Chesterfield area.

As Chommers says, Josh rents out guns and has uniforms available to borrow at his games. At many of the other events people are willing to lend stuff on a 'bend it mend it' basis.

German kit comes up quite frequently on the for sale board too, most of my best bits of kit have come from there :)

Cheers
Martin

Hi Joe

The Fuhrer game in december allows people your age mate.
Also lots of people loan out kit for events.
depending on your size, i have several uniforms you could loan on the day, and a spare gun as well if you need it.

A lot of people are very friendly on here, and will lend stuff out.
This way you can attend an event and see if you like it, BEFORE shelling out hundreds/thousands of pounds on kit.

Welcome to the forum, just spend lots of time reading up, there's LOTS of helpful information on here :good:

I'm looking at going to the game 2nd/3rd/4th of November (can't remember the name) as it's near me and isn't too expensive. Also thanks for the offer about borrowing your kit. 🙂

Hi,

I am also in Chesterfield... shame you're doing German though! It's the one major nationality I don't do!
