Hi guys!
Finally made the plunge and started buying in gear for skirmishing at my favourite WW2 themed sight up here in Scotland. It's a genereic British airborne impression that I've already made a few hiccups putting together - namely regarding certain types of Mk3 ammo pouches and the ubiquitous Denison smock... but hey-ho! I was impatient and the bug had taken hold, or at least that's the excuse.
Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to getting it in a passable state for skirmishing, and I look forward to any help that can be given by your knowledgeable selves.
Good to be aboard.

i'll kill a man in a fair fight or if i think he's going to start a fair fight or over a woman or.......

Thanks for the welcome, guys.
You did say Sunny Scotland?
Yeah, sunny. We've had about two days of summer up here, roughly two weeks apart. Luckily one of them was when I started back skirmishing last Sunday!
I'm heading to my first WWII themed game day on the 2nd of June, so what I have of my airborne kit (which amounts to the trousers, smock and webbing - all the important bits really!) will get its first outing. Can't wait! Will be sure to get some pictures for everyone.
