I found this site a while back when looking for zeltbahns,
been into reenacting for 13+yrs (Brit and US) but this last yr I've turned to the darkside of the force 
did attend a few modern airsoft events but I'm looking at getting my replica 30cal converted to airsoft (unless some obscure vcr sect
fubars that idea?) and awaiting the fodder
up in county durham/cumbria area.

If it's a RIF already then you're not manufacturing one so I see no issues at all with converting it to airsoft.
Converting a deac is another matter entirely!

yeah I wouldn't muck up a perfectly good deact just for making an airsoft gun . Is there anyone in the county durham/cumbria area that could help me with technical info/advice on my project or that's into the darkside of things?
