Yea Im gona use the 2nd rangers guide to go buy. But i think I'm also gona buy a m43 jacket aswell ( when funds permit)
My shopping list for essentials goes like this
Boots
M41 jacket
HBT top and bottoms
M1 helmet
Gators

yea im not a small guy, im 6ft 4" give or take, and im quit well built. ideal for carrying heavy stuff, like a 50 cal! ( wich if i had the money i wouldent hesitate to buy 
)
Do any of you who have posted do any us infanty inpressions? and do you think iv got my essentals shoping list right? also can anyone recomend anything essental iv missed out?

YEs, several of us do US infantry
Those are a good base, the gaitors (or leggings as they are known) will cover up the Corcorans (as you said you already have those), the HBTs are a decent starting layer under the M41 Jacket and the helmet will finish it off. It is pretty much the basic infantry impression.
Cheers for that, i know what to go for then, i would like some basic webbing aswell but i might have to waight a month 
im defonatly gona get some m43 winter wool gloves for the bastone event ( shivers )
