If you've got any kit relevant to Operation Alsos that you are prepared to lend, please post here. Similarly, post here if you need some kit in order to attend.

(Kit is usually lend on a "bend it, mend it" basis - the organisers of Operation Alsos are not responsible for any losses or damage incurred.)

Should have a few items for lend/lease. Dependant if I can drag some more of my guys down or not.
2-3 post war m1 helmets.
2-3 mp40 plus 2-3 mags each.
1-2 French/partisan leather webbing sets.

Need to borrow: US "suspenders" (what I call braces  ).

Also, if somebody could clarify how many buttons I need on my trousers, just to make sure I've got the right amount.

Lipton has a pair that he shouldn't be using, I'll check with him when he is home from work.

you could check with sgt Heidi Ranj, he got the stuff for St Lo and I do not see him on the list for Alsos.

Between us (me and Dean) we do have a couple of pairs of HBT trousers, but they are size 32 and 42 waist.

Ah, I thought you were asking how many buttons on the fly, and was suitably confused... This makes more sense.

Two left, two right and two at the back.
