both sides will be operating from a fixed base where assorted packs containing sandwiches can be kept until required.
It aint a long day, or a grueling march so we will not be stopping for lunch. However you can eat in the field at appropriate moments as you see fit - coincidentally the 'activities' between 12-1 happen to be kind of good for this. So you can take your snacks with you to your designated assignment and enjoy - just make sure you post a sentry (and remember the mission comes before your tuna sandwich REGARDLESS of how much delicious mayonnaise there is on it).

WW2 airsofters really are a mucky lot
Remember - this is Vichy France, not occupied France. Officially both sides should not be here as it is a separate neutral nation, but during the chaos of its early days the opportunity is provided for our unit/s' actions.
Damn , so it's back to sausages and saur kraut if we are lucky, or cheese spread and tinned bread if we are not

Mais oui. The French Mle 38 musette pack was actually designed to hold a bottle of wine. Well, mine seems to have been.

Well at least I managed to cover most of the 'Ersatz' condiments at the back with a tea towel
Bought or made, old bean? If made, where did you find the Camembert label?
Splendid.
All made Sean Most of the labels are from Gordon, the Camembert label & box is also from Gordon being reused from the fantastic lunch he made at Avellino

That's really good, you should do an article for the site on how you made them and where to download labels etc
