BTW, I believe I'm correct in saying that at this stage, SAS wore maroon berets. Or, just dress like a total scruff - it'll do the trick!

According to our extensive research (BBC DVD - Great SAS Missions (Anne's christmas gift)) the re-enactors portraying the SAS operating in France were dressed pretty much the same as any other airborne uniform. That is, para helmet/cap comforter/maroon beret, denison, brown trousers.
Steiner - regarding Brit or US - there's plenty of time yet - we'll see how you're doing for numbers nearer the time.
