Just need to check with the missus, but I intend to be there... SAS... a new one for me! :)

BTW, I believe I'm correct in saying that at this stage, SAS wore maroon berets. Or, just dress like a total scruff - it'll do the trick!

According to our extensive research (BBC DVD - Great SAS Missions (Anne's christmas gift)) the re-enactors portraying the SAS operating in France were dressed pretty much the same as any other airborne uniform. That is, para helmet/cap comforter/maroon beret, denison, brown trousers.

Steiner - regarding Brit or US - there's plenty of time yet - we'll see how you're doing for numbers nearer the time.

I could go along with that as I just happen to have a black beret, so what cap badge would I need?

Potential interest. Will make sure whether I can come and confirm. Spiers US.
Maybe my brother as well.
Any idea of price? Is that on another thread?

Oh, which reminds me Andy - better stick both Tom and me down for bosches for this one - he doesn't have his AB kit anymore, and I fancy going as a kraut now...
