My WW2 Airsoft cherry is well and truely popped and I loved it.

I'd like to say thanks to Guy and his crew for a fantastic day, to Taffy and his crew for the use of a great site, and to the US guys for accepting us into their fold and putting on a bloody good show. I'd also say thanks to the Brits for letting us rescue you on a couple of occassions and to the Germans for being such good targets - I can't remember the last game I had so many kills at!!!

I'm well up for more of this - which is good as I'm booked on In The Pocket, you guys are some of the best airsofters I've had the pleasure of meeting. It was very refreshing not to hear the cheat calling etc.

I'm just uploading some pics (posed!) to my online photo album and will post a link on the pic thread when its done.

5.5 hours there, 5.5 hours back....phew. Another great w/e, good skirmishing, great social as ever. Good to see old comrades, great to meet new ones: Bobby K and Zep, and the Belgian beermeister, Scalyback - top man!

I've got a BB dink in my forehead, nettlerash on both arms, and aching thighs from climbing those darned hills! Special thanks to Taffy, the CiA organisers and Helga Helferin for skirmishing, drinking and then getting up and cooking for us all - top marks hen / duck / whatever...

Ok thoughts gathered and I have to say what a weekend, I blew the head gasket on my car and my PC died a nasty horrible death.

Now for the good stuff, The-ex-site was invaded by a bunch of absolute head bangers and alky's, so many new people and such a buzz, the whole weekend was such a load of fun, and seeing so many honest players was great.
CIA organizers did a wonderful job and Saturdays game was long and hard, thanks guys very much.
The quality of players kit was an eye opener to us newbies, and many of you took the time to explain things and what was what, I think I shook hands with all of you except 1 person on the weekend who seemed to vanish into the crowd :( pity really but I wanted to meet him. Some of you guys and gals have captured a little bit of my heart and hopefully I will see you again soon (to many of you to mention) The whole weekend was a package and as the site organizer i am proud to say '' I was there '' :) Hope you all got home safe and sound and must say your all more than welcome to come and visit anytime, perhaps use the other half of the site as well :)

Thank you to everyone that attended from Taffy, Diane, lewis, Della, Smurf, Airborne, Jay and the D.A Rangers and not forgetting Dom who was watching you all at the high point and laughing like only he could xxxxxx

Another fantastic event everyone, my knees hurt after all steep gradients, good gameplay by everyone, I did see a few trigger happy yanks who did not seem to know what "where all dead" means even though all 4 of us where not returning fire, holding our weapons in the air & we had to shout it 3 times, thanks to all the organisers, Taffy & the DA rangers who made the event & everyone else involved, roll on the next one,

It's in the bomb cater that's filled with rubble and barbed wire to the right of the pond (as you look at it from the SZ)

Just got out of bed and feel like I was drinking last night aswell.

Well I had a fantastic weekend, as always - everyone enters in to the spirit of a CiA event, both in game and the "apres la guerre" and that is what makes them special. The game was excellent, and the site presented different challeges to the usual woodland with so little cover in places you really started thinking differently. So, a big thanks to all the organisers and all the Exsite team and especially to Taffy for having us and feeding us- diolch yn fawr - and thanks to Gadge for dinner on Saturday.

I even enjoyed myself on Sunday morning, though i didn't deserve to - once I was up the first big hill I think I was okay - paid for it later though, had to have a sleep in the services on the way home. Big thanks to all those who made sure I got in to my tent on Saturday night, and a big thanks to Scaleyback for all the lovely Belgian beer.

Cheers

Ranj

PS, I went over to McDonalds in Mold eventually but there were no airsofters there and they'd run out of veggie burgers so I didn't loiter.

The gameplay was great, but I much preferred the second day, when we were attacking. I used my G33/40 rifle for the first time and I think I got about 3 kills out of about 200 shots fired, so I was more cheesed off about that than anything. I adjusted the hop a little which made the trajectory truer at longer range, but I just don't think I'm a rifler - I think I might sell it, to be honest.

I enjoyed both days, First day was fun when we was attacking, throughly enjoyed the latter part of the first day. Got alot of kills with my Garand, and very good comms and team work by all of those involved in the airborne manoveurs. The second day was fun defending and displacing. Us Yanks held our left flank at the bridge for quiet a while until we was over run.

Wasn't aching yesterday but my shoulders are sore today. You german certainly know a few things about glamourflage, With all that bling you'd certainly fit into a rap video.

Thanks John, what an great site you have.

Yeah I'm suprisingly not aching at all, considering the amount of kit I was carrying, must be a sign of finally getting fitter! hehe
