If you work in IT for a nasty company, you pretty much don't have a choice, Stephen. Those of us in there know what it's like. :(

Damn sorry for you, Del. Scott, here's hoping it turns out ok for you.

You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier

Grimlock - could you PM why he 'can't get on the forum' please. Is it a physical thing or a technical difficulty with forum access?

They did ask if I could skip my holiday. I said yes, but I don't think they liked the terms I offered, especially since I warned them of this issue 2 weeks ago...

God I love getting revenge sometimes :D

Back up to an "8" now that I have new boot insoles, have packed everything, sorted props, paperwork, charged batteries and filled the jerrycans. Time to relax, have a beer or twelve and wait until leaving for the site tomorrow.

When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!

At about a 9 now. If I haven't packed it, I'm just going to have to do without it. Really looking forward to attending a CiA event after being on this forum for so long
Brought a pair of insoles like Heide has got (if he's using them, then a good idea for me to use them too, cheers Pete :good: )
Looking forwards to following orders instead of giving them :D

Am now at a 9.5 level, just got some more water to pack now that I have seen the weather for Saturday, have the bottle on my belt, 2X 58p water bottles and my Jerry one, 2ltr plastic bottle for the Team should do it, once it's empty it takes up less space and weighs nothing. :good:

"Will you stop talking about the war!!"
"What, you started it!"
"We did NOT start it!"
"Yes you did, you invaded Poland..."

I've got 5 litre of water 1 in a canteen, 2 in 1ltr bottles & 2 in a 2ltr bottle. However given the likely hot weather I may ditch my bulky sleeping bag and just go with a blanket which will give me room for a bit more. I don't think I'm likely to be cold.

Indeed. I'm putting a spare pair on my pack just in case.

Excitometer up to a good 9 now my kit is mostly sorted, smock is camo'd (with an uber bodge job- I think I've doubled the weight in paint, but it should be more waterproof now! :banghead: ) and MP44 mag mod works. 8)

Yes, I totally forgot mine and only remembered when I woke up this morning. Funny how the mind works!

I'm now at about 7.5, assuming the scale is 1-10.

I use mine for cycling and they were in my bike bag.

Really weird, I woke up after having a strange dream (which you and Pete were in, with Pete using a Barrett gun about 10 foot long whilst we were at a friend's wedding) and thought "Shooting Glasses" before I thought about anything else!!
