So, I'll be coming straight from work to the site and can pick up food from a supermarket in Oswestry.
However, I'm not sure how we're going to keep it fresh for 36 hours.
The best way would be to buy frozen meats and normal bread, but that'll defrost pretty quickly and will then not be refrigerated for about 24 hours, which isn't any good.
Any bright ideas?
Well, we could either use a cool box, or, dig a pit about 2 feet deep to plonk it all in and, cover it back up with earth to keep it cool.
When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!
Anyone have a decent size cool box?
If not, I could do with getting one anyway, so will sort one personally.
What are we doing about a barby then?
PS Don't forget we have veggies in our midst.
I think Josh is bringing a barby for Friday night - could you find out if we can use it and if so how big it is and what fuels it (so we can provide fuel).
Josh has packed the BBQ - we need to provide charcoal and lighters
I'll get the food, charcoal and lighters tonight.
I've spoken to Dave Barrett who has a battery powered refrigerated cool box he's bringing and I have a cool bag and ice blocks to keep it all nice and fresh.
I'll get veggie sausages, meat sausages and burgers along with buns.
S
Tomato & mustard sauce too - makes BBQ food edible! Some cheap oil would be good too, stuff goes horribly dry/burnt otherwise.
Got red sauce and brown sauce and will get some oil too.
